Dr. Kathy Quiñones is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Dee Norton Director of Grants and Program Evaluation. Dr. Quiñones’ research interests include predictors of youth risk and resilience following trauma exposure. She has experience with the data management and analysis of six federally-funded research studies focused on child violence exposure and/or child abuse.
In addition, she is trained in several EBTs for trauma including as a certified TF-CBT and PCIT provider, and certified TF-CBT supervisor. Furthermore, she has trained as a provider of the NCTSN Core Concepts on Childhood Trauma and participated in the NCTSN Child Welfare Trauma Training Toolkit subcommittee.
