CJ Akins

Overview

CJ Akins is the Program Coordinator at the National Crime Victim’s Research and Treatment Center and is responsible for providing coordination of learning collaborative activities for Project BEST. Akins completed his undergraduate studies at Mercer University in Macon, GA where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism. He is finishing his master’s in international relations from the Harvard Extension School. Before joining NCVC, he worked for Darkness to Light providing child sexual abuse prevention consulting and worked for Hopeful Horizons providing volunteer coordination and community education.
