Dr. Carole Swiecicki, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist, Chief Programmatic Officer at the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, and Clinical Assistant Professor in the MUSC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
She is a national trainer in TF-CBT and AF-CBT and a certified therapist in these models. Dr. Swiecicki’s clinical and research interests are in developing, evaluating, and disseminating culturally-sensitive interventions for traumatized and distressed children and families, with an emphasis on improving access among underserved families.
Dr. Swiecicki has served on the Boards of Directors of the National Children’s Alliance, Children’s Advocacy Centers of Virginia, and South Carolina Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers
